The cups are made from rPET. This is recycled PET material, for example from (soft)drink bottles used and collected by the consumer. The use of rPET results in a greatly reduced carbon footprint and a reduction of waste that ends up in the landfill. rPET is a very good alternative to traditional plastic packaging.
